Colidrops Usage: this medication slows the activity of digestive system, thereby reducing cramping & gastric motility. Barbiturates are used since they're calming, sedative effects. Used to treat stomach and intestinal disorders, motion sickness premenstrual tension, bed-wetting & urinary frequency.

How to use Colidrops: Take 30 minutes to one hour before meals, unless your healthcare professional tells you otherwise. May be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. do not take within one hour of an antacid or anti-diarrheal medication as effectiveness of this medication will be reduced. Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase dose or take this more many times than instructed. Sustained-release meds should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or the sustained activity will be destroyed & chance about side effects increased.

Colidrops side effects: may cause drowsiness. Use caution when performing tasks that require alertness. other side effects include dry mouth, bloating, constipation, difficulty in urination, irregular pulse, confusion, tremors, restlessness, blurred vision, altered taste perception. Inform you're physician if any about these effects continue or worsen. If it drug makes you constipated, increase your fiber intake by eating more fresh fruit & vegetables, salad, and whole grain breads. Exercise and drink plenty of water (unless your pharmacist tells you not to). in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this pill, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or doctor.

Colidrops Precautions: If you ever had an unusual reaction to belladonna or to any barbiturate or if you allergic to tartrazine (a yellow dye), tell some your doctor before taking this medication. If you have any of following health problems, inform your physician before using this medication. this med should not be used if you have: kidney disease, liver disease, glaucoma, heart problems, certain diseases of urinary tract. Alcoholic beverages may add to the drowsiness caused by this drug. Avoid strenuous exercise especially in hot weather & avoid saunas while taking this medication. it drug reduces sweating which can lead to overheating. this combination product isnt recommended since use during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before using this med. this drug is excreted into breast milk. barbiturate in it drug has caused problems in nursing infants. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Colidrops medication interactions: many drugs can decrease the effects of this drug or increase Its side effects. Tell your pharmacist what prescription & nonprescription medications you are taking, especially tablets that cause drowsiness such as: cough-and-cold medicines, sleep medications, narcotic pain medications (e.g., codeine). this drug may interfere with effectiveness about birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your healthcare professional. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Colidrops Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, blurred vision, unusual size of pupils, cold or hot dry and flushed skin, dry mouth, fast heartbeat, fever, headache, fast or slow & shallow breathing, change in amount of urine, drowsiness, blue skin, or unconsciousness.

If you missed Colidrops dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Colidrops Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of it medication.
