B 1 Usage: Thiamine, vitamin B1, is necessary to prevent or treat stomach, heart or nerve problems caused by thiamine deficiency.
How to use B 1: Take it medication as directed. it is usually taken three times day with meals. Follow any special dietary recommendations made by youre healthcare professional or nutritionist while taking this drug.
B 1 side effects: this pill can cause itching, sweating, feeling of warmth, nausea, weakness, or restlessness. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to this med. Consult you're healthcare professional if any of these effects persist or become severe. Notify you're doctor if you experience: shortness about breath, tightness of the throat. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or doctor.
B 1 Precautions: If you have had a bad reaction (skin reaction, difficulty swallowing, or difficulty breathing) to thiamine in past, tell you're doctor. Except in doses greater than recommended, thiamine is considered safe for use during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.
B 1 drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: medications used for muscle relaxation during surgery. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
B 1 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
B 1 special notes: Thiamine is common in foods such as dry beans, whole wheat flour, seeds & nuts, brewer's yeast, enriched and fortified grains & cereals, liver, kidney & pork. Eat more of these foods to increase amount of thiamine in you're diet.
If you missed B 1 dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible but not if It's almost time for the next dose. If It's time since next dose, skip the missed dose & resume youre regular schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.
B 1 Storage: Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms.
