Bromanate Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Bromanate: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it med, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify your doctor. don't increase dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Bromanate side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects must subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Bromanate Precautions: Tell your physician you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this drug to a kid younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by pharmacist.
Bromanate med interactions: Tell your healthcare professional what medications you take, especially of: hypertension drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy pill. don't take it med if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or physician approval.
Bromanate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Bromanate special notes: don't share this product with others.
If you missed Bromanate dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if Its almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
