Suttar 2 Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. this combination drug is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Suttar two: this drug is best taken with, or after, a meal or snack. Take it medication as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often then directed.
Suttar 2 side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur the 1st few days as youre body adjusts to med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Suttar 2 Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of medication dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this med causes you to feel drowsy. cash this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). Suttar 2 drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Suttar two Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Suttar 2 special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Suttar two dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Suttar 2 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
