Durasal Ii Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Durasal Ii: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew med. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more many times or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Durasal Ii side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first several days as your body adjusts to drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify some your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this med may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Durasal Ii Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. this isn't known if this tablet appears in breast milk; consult youre physician before breast-feeding.
Durasal Ii drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication for high blood pressure. Tell your physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.
Durasal Ii Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Durasal Ii special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Durasal Ii dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Durasal Ii Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
