Amoxicillin, carbenicillin, bacampicillin - oral
Wymox Usage: this medication is penicillin-related antibiotic that is used to treat wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use Wymox: Take this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. this drug may be taken with or with out food. Antibiotics work best when the amount about medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Do this by taking drug at evenly spaced intervals throughout day and night. Continue to take this medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a some days. Stopping med too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow and may result in a relapse of infection.
Wymox side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician. Inform your pharmacist if following rare side effects occur: sore mouth, sore throat, fever, easy bruising or bleeding. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Wymox Precautions: Before using it medication tell your healthcare professional your medical history especially: kidney disease, stomach/intestinal problems, blood disorders, allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, any another allergies. Use of this medication since prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Before using it drug, tell your pharmacist if you are pregnant. this tablet is excreted into breast milk and may have an effect on a nursing infant. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Wymox drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist & physician of all tablets you may use both prescription and nonprescription, & especially: birth control pills, live vaccines, tetracycline. this drug may interfere with the effectiveness about birth control pills. Discuss using another methods of birth control with youre healthcare professional. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Wymox Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include seizures, agitation, confusion, tremors hallucinations, unconsciousness, muscle weakness, or headaches.
Wymox special notes: it medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it later for other infection or give it to someone else. a different medication may be necessary in those cases.
If you missed Wymox dose: If you should miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered unless It's almost time for the next dose. If it is nearly clock for following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose.
Wymox Storage: Store at room temperature as directed by the product labeling or youre prescription bottle. Store away from light and moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children & pets.
