    Guaifenesin with dextromethorphan - oral

    (gweye-fen-eh-sin with dex-trow-meth-or-fan)

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with the common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Tussi Organidin Dm Nr: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. Capsules and long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur 1'st few days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify you're doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this tablet makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially about: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. it pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of it medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr drug interactions: Tell you're pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or healthcare professional approval.

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Tussi Organidin Dm Nr dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Tussi Organidin Dm Nr Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
