Brevoxyl 8 Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
How to use Brevoxyl 8: this tablet is for topical use on affected area only. Avoid using it in eyes, mouth & nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap one time or twice day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up a lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub skin. Creams, lotions or gels usually applied once or twice day to affected area. small amount is applied to affected region and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected area of skin with a mild cleanser & water then dry it. following apply the pad, usually once or twice day to skin as directed.
Brevoxyl 8 side effects: Slight stinging, dryness and peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify your physician if the next effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Brevoxyl 8 Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: another skin problems, any allergies. it medication may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in child under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. it isnot known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though there have no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your physician before breast-feeding.
