    Antihistamines - oral

    Simular Drugs : Jay RX, Jay Rx Pd

    Jay Rx Pd Usage: Antihistamines used to treat rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching, & sneezing due to allergies or the common cold. They may also be used to treat motion sickness, anxiety, or as sleep aid (for insomnia).

    How to use Jay Rx Pd: May be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Sustained-release or long acting pills & capsules must be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy long action and may increase side effects. for chewable tablets, chew thoroughly & swallow. Shake suspensions well before taking.

    Jay Rx Pd side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, vision changes, irritability, dry mouth and nose. These effects must subside as youre body adjusts to med. If they persist or become bothersome, inform youre physician. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, pounding or irregular heartbeat, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Jay Rx Pd Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: glaucoma (narrow angle), stomach ulcers, difficulty urinating (e.g., enlarged prostate), heart disease, HBP, seizures, lung problems, overactive thyroid. Change from seated or lying position slowly to avoid dizziness. Use caution in performing activities requiring alertness. Limit alcohol intake to avoid excessive drowsiness. Caution is advised when using it pill in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. do not give long-acting antihistamines to children younger than 12 years about age nor other dose forms of antihistamines to a kid younger then 6 years of age without doctor approval. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your healthcare professional. it med may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Jay Rx Pd drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of all the meds you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, pill for depression, seizure drugs, narcotic pain relievers, other medications for colds/hay fever/allergies. Because this medication may affect allergy testing, you may have to stop using this drug for several days before tests are performed. Consult your healthcare professional about it. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Jay Rx Pd Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in children may include abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include drowsiness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

    Jay Rx Pd special notes: don't share this product with others.

    If you missed Jay Rx Pd dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Jay Rx Pd Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of it drug.

    Medical alert: your condition may cause complications in a medical emergency.
