Duramorph Usage: it med is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
How to use Duramorph: Use this tablet as prescribed. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before it occurs. one time pain becomes intense, the medication isn't as effective in relieving it. Use it medication exactly as directed by your physician. do not increase your dose, use it more frequently or use this for a longer period of clock then prescribed because this drug canbe habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of time, don't suddenly stop using this medication with out your doctor's approval. Over time, this drug may not work as well. Consult your physician if this med is not relieving the pain sufficiently.
Duramorph side effects: may cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea or flushing. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform you're doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Duramorph Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: liver disease, lung disease, asthma, colitis or another stomach problems, severe diarrhea, a history about drug dependency, med allergies. Use caution when engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol consumption because it may add to dizziness/drowsiness effects of it drug. Caution is advised when using it drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of drug. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. this medication may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Duramorph drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, other narcotic pain relievers, drugs for depression, phenothiazines, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Duramorph Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include shallow & slow breathing, very slow heartbeat, fainting, seizures, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Duramorph special notes: To prevent constipation, increase some your intake of fiber, drink plenty of water & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. don't share this drug with others. it is against law.
If you missed Duramorph dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost clock for the next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Duramorph Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
