    Children's Profen Ib Usage: Ibuprofen is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which relieves pain & swelling (inflammation). It's used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. this med is also used to reduce fever and to relieve minor aches and pain due to the common cold or flu. it drug works by blocking the enzyme at you're body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, & fever. do not give this drug to child younger then two years about age unless directed to do so by the doctor.

    How to use Children's Profen Ib: Shake bottle well before each dose. Measure out each dose carefully & take this medication by mouth with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your pharmacist directs you otherwise. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug. If stomach upset occurs while taking this drug, take this with food, milk, or an antacid. dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. in children, dosage is also based on weight. Read product instructions to find appropriate dose for your child's weight, or consult doctor or doctor if you have questions. If repeat doses needed, they usually given six or 8 hours apart; or as directed by the pharmacist. in certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before full benefits of this medication take effect. If you use it drug for migraine headache, and pain is not relieved or worsens after the first dose, tell your doctor immediately. If you treating yourself or giving this drug to children since undiagnosed fever or pain, consult the pharmacist immediately if symptoms do not improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.

    Children's Profen Ib side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, and dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify youre doctor or doctor promptly. Tell you're physician immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in ears (tinnitus). Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, easy bruising or bleeding. Tell your physician immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. this drug may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from stomach or intestines. If you notice any of the following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult some your pharmacist or pharmacist immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks love coffee grounds. this drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any about following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately: yellowing eyes and skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

    Children's Profen Ib Precautions: this medication should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using it medicine, consult your doctor or doctor if you have: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this drug, tell youre physician or healthcare professional some your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), high blood pressure, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths in nose (nasal polyps), history of an allergic reaction with symptoms of lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this medicine may cause stomach bleeding. daily use of alcohol & tobacco, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase youre risk for stomach bleeding. Consult your pharmacist or doctor for more info. this med may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use sunscreen & wear protective clothing when outdoors. this product can contain sugar. Caution is advised if you have diabetes. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about safe use of this product. Caution is advised when using it medication in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of drug, especially stomach bleeding & kidney effects. it med should be used only when clearly needed during first 6 months of pregnancy. It's not recommended for use during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to the potential for serious fetal harm and interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss the risks and benefits with your pharmacist. it medication passes into breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult you're physician before breast-feeding.

    Children's Profen Ib drug interactions: Before using this pill, tell your doctor or pharmacist about every prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: alendronate, another pills for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, HBP drugs (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). cash every prescription & nonprescription medicine labels carefully for many contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which are similar to this drug. If you also taking aspirin, as prescribed by your healthcare professional for reasons such as heart attack or stroke prevention (usually these dosages are 81-325 mg per day), continue to take aspirin & consult you're pharmacist or healthcare professional before using ibuprofen. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Children's Profen Ib Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or seizures.

    Children's Profen Ib special notes: do not share it pill with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor some your progress or money for side effects. Consult your doctor for more details.

    If you missed Children's Profen Ib dose: If you are prescribed it medication on regular schedule (not just 'as needed') and you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If Its near clock of the following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Children's Profen Ib Storage: Store at room temperature according to product directions away from light & moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep every medicines away from kid & pets.
