How to use Valerian: Take by mouth, generally 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime. this product shouldn't be taken for more than 2 weeks. Follow every directions on the product package. If youre condition persists or worsens or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immeditial medical attention.
Valerian side effects: Headache, blurred vision, nausea, change in heartbeat, & morning grogginess may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, contact your physician promptly. Very unlikely but report: dark urine, stomach pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Valerian drug interactions: Before using this product, tell your pharmacist or healthcare professional of all prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially of drugs causing drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety pills (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines, anti-seizure tablets, muscle relaxants & antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine). check all nonprescription medicine labels carefully, especially cough-and-cold preparations, since much contain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). Valerian Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include weak heartbeat, lightheadedness, blurred vision, stomach cramping, chest tightness, hand tremor, & paralysis.
Valerian special notes: Liver function tests should be performed with prolonged use of it herbal product.
