How to use Poly Vitamin W Fluoride: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. Also, fluoride absorption may be decreased with food/dairy products high in calcium. Consult your doctor for more next information about taking this with food. If using drops, measure the dose carefully using the dropper provided. Drops may be swallowed directly or added to liquid or mixed with small amount of food such as applesauce. the fluoride in this liquid product can be absorbed directly into the teeth as you swallow it, as well as being absorbed into your system from your stomach. Therefore, It's best not to eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes after taking this. Calcium (including milk & dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.g., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing Its effectiveness. Take this med some hours apart from such products/foods.
