Hep Pak Cvc Usage: this med is an anticoagulant which prevents the blood from clotting. Its used to prevent & treat venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and another conditions of blood clotting.
How to use Hep Pak Cvc: this medication is administered by health care professional either as an injection or infused slowly into a vein over a period time. Blood tests will be done routinely to determine appropriate dose.
Hep Pak Cvc side effects: this drug may cause irritation, pain, redness or swelling at injection site. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your doctor if you develop signs of a possibly allergy: chills, fever, itchy skin, rash. Bleeding must be monitored for it may indicate dose is too high. Notify your pharmacist if you experience any of the next while using this drug: simple bruising, nose bleed, dark & tarry stools, blood at urine, bleeding episode. Hep Pak Cvc Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: blood disorders, bleeding episodes, heart disease, ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, any allergies. preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in the liquid used to mix this product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during the first months of life (neonatal period). risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, low blood pressure, or a very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to healthcare professional immediately should they occur. If possible, preservative-free product should be used when treating neonates. Elderly persons may be more sensitive to effects about this drug. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. it isnot known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

If you missed Hep Pak Cvc dose: It's important to use each dose in scheduled time. If you miss dose, contact your healthcare professional who will help establish a new dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
