    Corticosteroids - topical

    Nutracort Usage: this med is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & another irritations.

    How to use Nutracort: Clean & dry the affected area before applying drug. To apply, gently massage little bit of drug into affected area & surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you are instructed to do so by your physician. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with this medication in diaper region. Avoid using it medication around the eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.

    Nutracort side effects: this tablet can cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to the skin. this must disappear in a few days as youre body adjusts to the medication. this medication may also cause skin thinning and discoloration. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Skin infections can become worse when using this tablet. Notify your physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Nutracort Precautions: do not use this med near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on the area to be treated. Though very unlikely, Its possible it medication will be absorbed in to you're bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for child & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about this pill. Consult your doctor or doctor for more details. this med should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with your physician. Small amounts of this med may appear in breast milk. Consult with some your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Nutracort tablet interactions: Tell your doctor of every medications you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Nutracort Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Nutracort special notes: Inform all some your doctors you use (or have used) it medication. do not share this medication with others.

    If you missed Nutracort dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost time since the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Nutracort Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

    Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
