Durahist Pe Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have drying effect on mucous secretions. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Durahist Pe: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this medication is best taken with a full glass of water after meal or snack. Long-acting tablets and capsules should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew them or the long action may be destroyed and chance of side effects increased.

Durahist Pe side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose & eyes may occur first few days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.

Durahist Pe Precautions: Tell you're physician if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. cash this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. it med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre healthcare professional. since small amounts about this medication are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Durahist Pe drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: medication for blood pressure, medication for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your physician if you take meds that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety tablets (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure pills (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. don't start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Durahist Pe Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry & flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

Durahist Pe special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Durahist Pe dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if this is near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Durahist Pe Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
