Vagistat 1 Usage: this medication is an antifungal used to treat certain vaginal infections.

How to use Vagistat 1: this medication is for vaginal use only & is usually given as single dose. Open applicator just prior to use. Insert applicator high into the vagina (unless you pregnant) and press the plunger to release drug. Discard the applicator. Use sanitary napkin/minipad to prevent staining clothing. do not use a tampon. detailed instruction sheet should be provided with the drug. Review instructions and be sure to ask youre pharmacist or pharmacist should you have any questions.

Vagistat 1 side effects: this medication may cause vaginal itching, burning, irritation or pain or painful urination. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, contact your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.

Vagistat 1 Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, including: use of latex diaphragms or condoms, any allergies. ointment base of this medication can weaken latex. Therefore, do not use latex condoms or diaphragms for 3 days after using this pill. Avoid vaginal sexual intercourse when using this medication. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're pharmacist. Its unknown if this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Vagistat 1 medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may use. Avoid use of vaginal douches while using this pill. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Vagistat 1 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Vagistat 1 special notes: this medication isnt contraceptive agent. do not share this medication with others.

If you missed Vagistat 1 dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered.

Vagistat 1 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
