Antihistamines with decongestants - oral long acting

Rescon Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Rescon: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Sustained-release or long acting tablets & capsules must be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy long action & may increase side effects. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. don't increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended.
Rescon side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify you're doctor if you develop: trouble breathing, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Rescon Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, diabetes, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, overactive thyroid gland. money this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. money other medicines you take for duplications. do not drink alcoholic beverages. do not give extended-release tablets to child younger than 12 years about age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Rescon drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially medication for: hypertension, seizures, depression. Tell your pharmacist if you use any drugs that make you drowsy such as: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain tablet (e.g., codeine), other cold or allergy drugs. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Rescon Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Rescon special notes: don't share this product with others.
If you missed Rescon dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost clock since the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Rescon Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
