    Guaifenesin/pseudoephedrine/hydrocodone tablet - oral

    Simular Drugs : Ztuss, Ztuss

    Ztuss Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. Pseudoephedrine relieves nasal stuffiness. Hydrocodone helps control a cough. it combination pill is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Ztuss: it pill is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack. Take this med as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.

    Ztuss side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, or anxiety may occur the 1st few days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify you're doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Ztuss Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of medication dependency, any allergies. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. at least one of ingredients in this combination product is known to be excreted in to breast milk. Consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Ztuss pill interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: drug since blood pressure, drug for depression, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid, moclobemide, procarbazine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or physician approval.

    Ztuss Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, shaking, irregular heartbeat, slowed breathing, cold & clammy skin, & deep sleep or loss of consciousness.

    Ztuss special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Ztuss dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if Its near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Ztuss Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
