Fluocinolone Acetonide Usage: it drug is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching about skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.
How to use Fluocinolone Acetonide: Clean & dry the affected region before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of medication into the affected area & surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you are instructed to do so by youre doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with it medication in the diaper area. Avoid using this medication around the eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Fluocinolone Acetonide side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1'st applied to skin. this should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to pill. this pill may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician. Skin infections can become worse when using this med. Notify some your healthcare professional if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly next side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Fluocinolone Acetonide Precautions: do not use this medication near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond 2 weeks consecutively isnt recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, this is possible it med will be absorbed into your bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for child and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this tablet. Consult your healthcare professional or doctor since more details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with your doctor. Small amounts of this drug may appear in breast milk. Consult with you're physician before breast-feeding.
Fluocinolone Acetonide drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every meds you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Fluocinolone Acetonide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Fluocinolone Acetonide special notes: Inform every you're healthcare professionals you use (or have used) this drug. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Fluocinolone Acetonide dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Fluocinolone Acetonide Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
