Guaifenesin D Methorphan Hb Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Guaifenesin D Methorphan Hb: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules & long-acting pills must be swallowed whole with full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.
Guaifenesin D Methorphan Hb side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first several days as you're body adjusts to med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your physician if you develop any of these effects while taking this medication: skin rash, trouble breathing. If you missed Guaifenesin D Methorphan Hb dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
