Jaycof HC Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. it combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Jaycof HC: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. it med is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack.

Jaycof HC side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the 1st several days as your body adjusts to drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.

Jaycof HC Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history about medication dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this drug causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're doctor. since small amounts of this medication found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Jaycof HC medication interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure pills, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping meds, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this drug. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Jaycof HC Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Jaycof HC special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Jaycof HC dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if It's near the time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Jaycof HC Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
