Vita Numonyl DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination drug is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Vita Numonyl DM: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take it more often then directed. Capsules & long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased.

Vita Numonyl DM side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss about appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop any about these effects while taking this tablet: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this med makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Vita Numonyl DM Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Vita Numonyl DM tablet interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.

Vita Numonyl DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

Vita Numonyl DM special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Vita Numonyl DM dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Vita Numonyl DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
