Suprax Usage: this medication is a cephalosporin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety about bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, middle ear infections, skin infections, urinary tract infections, & tonsillitis.

How to use Suprax: this drug may be taken with out regard to meals. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Do this by taking medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day & night. Continue to take it tablet until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping med too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse of infection. Certain infections can be treated with single one-time dose. Follow directions carefully.

Suprax side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting. Take with food or milk to minimize these effects. If they continue or become severe, inform your doctor promptly. other side effects reported with it medication include headache, dizziness, fatigue, muscle aches and strange taste in the mouth. Inform your doctor if any about these effects occur. Unlikely to occur but report promptly: fever, easy bleeding or bruising, change at the amount of urine, seizures. An allergic reaction to this med is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: difficulty breathing, skin rash, hives, itching. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Suprax Precautions: Persons allergic to penicillin-type antibiotics should use it pill with caution. An allergy may exist to this as well. Use of this drug for prolonged or repeated periods may result at a secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. since small amounts of this medication appear at breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Suprax drug interactions: Tell your physician of every the prescription & nonprescription drug you use, especially: gout medicine (e.g., probenecid), carbamazepine. this pill may interfere with effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. Diabetics should be aware this medication may cause false positive urine glucose tests. talk to your healthcare professional or pharmacist of alternative way to monitor your sugar levels. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.

Suprax Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include muscle spasms & seizures.

Suprax special notes: this medication has been prescribed for some your current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. different medication may be necessary.

If you missed Suprax dose: If you should miss dose, take it as soon as remembered unless It's almost time since following dose. If It's nearly time for the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

Suprax Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. don't store in bathroom.
