Carbaphen 12 Usage: this drug is cough suppressant/antihistamine/ decongestant combination used for the relief about cough due to the common cold, asthma, or bronchitis.

How to use Carbaphen 12: Take this medication by mouth usually two times daily as needed, or as directed by your pharmacist. Shake this liquid well before each dose. Unless otherwise directed, drink plenty of fluids when you use this medication. fluid will help loosen phlegm/mucus in youre breathing passages.

Carbaphen 12 side effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, blurred vision, & dryness about the nose and mouth may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects: difficulty urinating, mental/mood changes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

Carbaphen 12 Precautions: Tell youre physician your medical history, including: HBP, heart problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma (narrow angle), prostate conditions, allergies (especially to tartrazine dye, or aspirin). this med may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly, since they may be more sensitive to med side effects. this medication should not be used at newborns. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. this medication may pass into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using this medication is not recommended. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Carbaphen 12 drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription drug you use, especially about: MAO inhibitors used currently or stopped within last 2 weeks (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Also report use of medications that cause drowsiness such as: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines, anti-seizure medications, muscle relaxants, another antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine). check labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and- cold products) because they can contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask some your healthcare professional about safe use of those products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.

Carbaphen 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, deep sleep, slowed breathing, irregular heartbeat, hot or cold skin, numbness or tingling in arms or legs, shaking, and seizures.

If you missed Carbaphen 12 dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time of next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Carbaphen 12 Storage: Store at room temperature between 68 & 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
