    Warning: this medication should only be used by health care professionals trained in use of immunosuppressive therapy. Due to the potential for serious side effects (e.g., allergic reaction, decreased immune system function), your response to therapy will need to be followed closely by some your healthcare professional. watch Side Effects & Precautions for more information.

    Thymoglobulin Usage: it tablet is used to treat rejection after organ transplant (e.g., kidney transplant).

    Thymoglobulin can be used also since: this medication may also be used for the treatment of certain blood disorders (aplastic anemia).

    How to use Thymoglobulin: Give it medication by vein (IV), as directed by some your doctor. You might receive another pills (e.g., acetaminophen, corticosteroids, and/or an antihistamine) in order to decrease side effects of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for next info, including how and when to take additional medications. You might receive another drugs to help prevent rejection of the transplant organ (e.g., corticosteroids, azathioprine) and/or prevent infection (e.g., antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals). Take these meds exactly as prescribed by your pharmacist. Consult your healthcare professional or healthcare professional if you are unsure how to take any of your drugs. Follow every directions for proper mixing & dilution with correct IV fluids. Follow every safety precautions for this drug. Consult your pharmacist for following information.     Thymoglobulin side effects: Nausea, chills or headache may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional promptly. Tell youre pharmacist immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: fever, dizziness, diarrhea, stomach pain, unusual fatigue, joint or muscle pain, persistent sore throat, simple bleeding or bruising, quick or irregular pulse. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Thymoglobulin Precautions: it drug is not recommended for use if you have the following medical conditions: current viral illness, allergy to rabbit proteins. Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: blood cell problems (e.g., leukopenia, thrombocytopenia), previous use of anti-thymocyte globulin, any allergies you may have. this medication may make you dizzy. Use caution when engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages because they can increase dizziness effect of this medication. Notify your pharmacist promptly if you develop any signs of an infection, such as fever, chills or persistent sore throat. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your doctor. It's not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Thymoglobulin drug interactions: Tell you're physician of all prescription and nonprescription drug you may use, especially: corticosteroid drugs (e.g., methylprednisolone, prednisone), other drugs that suppress the immune system (e.g., azathioprine, cyclosporine), rabbit-derived goods (immune globulins). don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval. it drug can affect results of certain lab tests. Make sure laboratory personnel & some your doctors know you use this drug.

    Thymoglobulin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Thymoglobulin Storage: Store vials in refrigerator between 36 & 46 degrees F (2 to 8 degrees C) away from light and moisture. do not freeze. Consult youre pharmacist for next information regarding the stability of the drug after dilution in IV fluids. Discard any unused liquid.
