Breonesin Usage: this medication is used to relieve a dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.
How to use Breonesin: Take each dose of this medication with full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. don't take this medication for a chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your physician. If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your doctor.
Breonesin side effects: it drug may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're physician. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Breonesin Precautions: If you have any of following health problems, consult your healthcare professional before using it pill: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Its not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Breonesin drug interactions: Tell your physician of every medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: other cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect results of certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers aware you use this medicine before lab tests performed. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Breonesin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.
Breonesin special notes: this pill comes in variety about dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting pills or capsules & syrup. Ask your pharmacist or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.
If you missed Breonesin dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Breonesin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this pill. don't store syrup at refrigerator.
