Coldec Ds Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Coldec Ds: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your healthcare professional. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently then recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Coldec Ds side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing at ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Coldec Ds Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. money this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding. don't give this pill to a child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by physician.
Coldec Ds drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional what drugs you take, especially of: hypertension drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, another cold or allergy med. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Coldec Ds Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Coldec Ds dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
