Strong Iodine Usage: Iodine is necessary for normal function of thyroid gland. It's used to treat excessive thyroid function & to block thyroid activity.

How to use Strong Iodine: Take this drug by mouth as directed. Dilute amount prescribed with water or fruit juice to improve taste. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully. do not increase dose, take it more often or continue taking it for longer than prescribed.

Strong Iodine side effects: Stomach upset or diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, fever, joint pains, breathing trouble, swelling of face, swelling of throat, metallic taste, burning mouth, sore teeth & gums, head cold symptoms, enlarged thyroid. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.

Strong Iodine Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: liver problems, kidney disease (for potassium-containing products), allergies (especially to iodine). this medication isn't recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor for details. this med passes into breast milk & has had undesirable effects on nursing infants. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Strong Iodine drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: lithium. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or doctor approval.

Strong Iodine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include stomach pain, severe diarrhea, breathing trouble, decrease in amount about urine, unconsciousness, or unusual thirst.

Strong Iodine special notes: Lab tests will be done to determine your need for this medication & to monitor the effectiveness.

If you missed Strong Iodine dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Strong Iodine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, light & moisture. do not store at the bathroom.
