Lithostat Usage: it med is used, in addition to antibiotics or medical procedures, to treat certain types about bladder (urinary tract) infections.
How to use Lithostat: it medication is taken by mouth three to four times daily on an empty stomach, as directed. Dosage is based on some your medical condition & response to treatment. do not take more then 1.5 grams per day.
Lithostat side effects: Headache, nausea, loss about appetite or fatigue may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify some your doctor promptly. Report promptly: mental/mood changes. Unlikely but report promptly: weakness, dark urine, yellowing eyes, rash, unusual hair loss. Very unlikely but report promptly: irregular heart beat, pain or redness of leg, trouble breathing, chest pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Lithostat Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, including: any allergies, kidney disease, blood clots in legs, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), alcohol use. this medication can cause reaction when used with alcohol, including rash or a feeling about warmth. If you experience these effects, avoid alcohol while taking this medication. Consult your doctor or physician about the use about alcohol. it drug must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your healthcare professional immediately. Also, consult your healthcare professional regarding use of reliable birth control while using this tablet. this isn't known whether it drug is excreted into breast milk. Because of the potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Lithostat drug interactions: Tell youre physician of all prescription and nonprescription medication you use, especially of: multivitamins, iron supplements. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Lithostat Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include anxiety or severe nausea & vomiting.
Lithostat special notes: do not share this drug with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor for side effects & response to therapy.
If you missed Lithostat dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of next dose, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Lithostat Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 - 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
