Triple Tannate S Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Triple Tannate S: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication, unless youre physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Triple Tannate S side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.
Triple Tannate S Precautions: Tell you're doctor youre medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, hypertension, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding. do not give this drug to a children younger than six years about age unless directed to do so by a physician.
Triple Tannate S drug interactions: Tell you're doctor what drugs you take, especially of: high blood pressure medications, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy medication. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last 2 weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Triple Tannate S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Triple Tannate S dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
