Suphedrine PLUS Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.

How to use Suphedrine PLUS: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication, unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.

Suphedrine PLUS side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or doctor.

Suphedrine PLUS Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this drug to kid younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by a doctor.

Suphedrine PLUS drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional what medications you take, especially of: hypertension drugs, anti-seizure pills, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. do not take this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last 2 weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Suphedrine PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Suphedrine PLUS dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
