Carbetapentane/decongestant/antihistamine - oral

Rentamine Usage: Carbetapentane is a cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. this combination tablet is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Rentamine: Take it drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. it pill is best swallowed whole with full glass of water.
Rentamine side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the first some days as your body adjusts to med. Flushing, sun sensitivity and nervousness may also occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit some your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.
Rentamine Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, parkinsonism, myasthenia gravis, depression, allergies (especially medication allergies). this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Rentamine med interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain drugs (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.
Rentamine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, irregular heartbeat, seizures, large pupils, dry mouth, hot and flushed skin, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, and slowed or rapid breathing.
Rentamine special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it med. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Rentamine dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Rentamine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
