Orphenadrine Citrate Usage: it med is used to relieve the pain & discomfort associated with musculoskeletal injuries & conditions.
How to use Orphenadrine Citrate: Take this with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Sustained release tablets should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or the long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects increased. Take it tablet exactly as directed. don't increase the dose or take this more often or continue taking this for longer than prescribed.
Orphenadrine Citrate side effects: Stomach upset, headache, blurred vision, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, dry mouth, constipation, difficulty urinating or flushing may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop: rapid heart rate, fainting, fever, breathing difficulties, skin rash, mental confusion, depression. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this drug causes you to feel drowsy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Orphenadrine Citrate Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney disease, liver disease, bladder problems, heart disease, prostate trouble, ulcers, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, allergies. it medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with some your doctor. Its not known if it drug appears in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. Limit the use of alcohol while taking this drug since excessive drowsiness or depression can occur.
Orphenadrine Citrate drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: propoxyphene and other narcotic pain pills (e.g., codeine). do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Orphenadrine Citrate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include irregular heart rate, fainting, loss of consciousness, & seizures.
Orphenadrine Citrate special notes: it medication is used in addition to rest, physical therapy or other measures prescribed to relieve you're condition. since this drug may make you temporarily feel better, do not engage in exercise or heavy lifting until recovery is complete as it may cause further muscle damage; follow your doctor's orders.
If you missed Orphenadrine Citrate dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Orphenadrine Citrate Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
