Triple Tannate Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Triple Tannate: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your healthcare professional. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Triple Tannate side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects must subside as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Triple Tannate Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. money this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Triple Tannate medication interactions: Tell your physician what pills you take, especially about: high blood pressure tablets, anti-seizure pills, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Triple Tannate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Triple Tannate dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
