Nitroglyn Usage: this tablet relaxes blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through. this improves blood flow to heart. Oral dose forms used to prevent angina (chest pain). this drug isnot for treating an attack of chest pain that is already happening.

How to use Nitroglyn: it medication is best taken on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. Take exactly as prescribed. To be effective in preventing chest pain, you must continue taking this med even if you feel well. Sustained-release or long acting meds and capsules must be swallowed whole. Crushing or chewing them destroys the long action and may increase side effects. don't stop taking it tablet suddenly without consulting your doctor. some conditions may become worse when drug is suddenly stopped. your dose may need to be gradually decreased. Notify your doctor if medication does not appear to be as effective. don't increase your dose or take it more many times then prescribed without consulting your pharmacist.

Nitroglyn side effects: Headache, dizziness, flushing, rapid heartbeat or restlessness may occur as you're body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To prevent dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Notify your doctor if you experience: blurred vision, dry mouth, skin rash, nausea. Headache is often sign the med is working. Treat headaches with an aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever as recommended by some your pharmacist. If headaches continue or become severe, notify you're doctor. in unlikely episode you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Nitroglyn Precautions: Before using it medication tell your healthcare professional your medical history especially of: heart problems, head injury or surgery, glaucoma, thyroid conditions, anemia, alcohol usage, drug allergies. Use caution engaging in activities that require alertness or in operating machinery if this medication makes you dizzy or drowsy. Alcoholic beverages may increase risk about fainting or of experiencing dizziness. it medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. it is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult youre physician before breast-feeding.

Nitroglyn drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every drugs you may use including prescription and nonprescription meds, especially of: drugs for HBP, certain migraine drugs (ergot alkaloids), sildenafil, high doses about aspirin. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.

Nitroglyn Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, unconsciousness, slow or rapid heartbeat, confusion, fever, or persistent throbbing headache.

Nitroglyn special notes: few persons may develop a tolerance to effects of it drug over time. Notify your healthcare professional if the medication appears to be losing Its effectiveness or if the chest pain continues while taking this medication.

If you missed Nitroglyn dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Nitroglyn Storage: Store it medication away from heat or flame. Always keep this med in it is original container. Keep container closed tightly to avoid moisture.
