Naphazoline with pheniramine - ophthalmic

Naphcon Usage: Naphazoline is a decongestant & pheniramine is an antihistamine. it combination is used to relieve redness, puffiness, itchy and watering eyes associated with colds, allergies or eye irritations.

How to use Naphcon a: To apply eye drops, wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let this touch your eye. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. look downward and gently close you're eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at corner of eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the drug from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you using other kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying another eye medications.

Naphcon side effects: it med may temporarily sting your eyes when you first use it. If stinging continues or becomes bothersome, inform youre physician. Vision may be blurred or unstable for some minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Inform your doctor if you develop: severe eye pain, headache, redness, itching or swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Naphcon Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: eye problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorder, heart disease, asthma, allergies (especially to sulfites). this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist.

Naphcon drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, especially: medication for blood pressure, depression. If you using another kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Naphcon Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Naphcon a special notes: do not share it product with others.

If you missed Naphcon dose: do not double dose if missed, but use this as soon as remembered. However, if It's almost time for the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your regular dosing schedule.

Naphcon a Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. do not freeze.
