Isoxsuprine HCL Usage: it drug helps to widen blood vessels so blood flows better. it is used in Raynaud's disease & other blood vessels disorders to improve blood flow.

How to use Isoxsuprine HCL: Take this pill as prescribed. do not stop taking it medication without consulting your physician.

Isoxsuprine HCL side effects: Dizziness, flushing, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, trembling, weakness or nervousness may occur 1-st few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages & avoid overheating which will aggravate these effects. Notify you're doctor if you develop: chest pain, a pounding heartbeat, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Isoxsuprine HCL Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist if you have: blood disorders or bleeding episodes, allergies (especially med allergies). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're pharmacist. since small amounts of this med are found in breast milk, consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Isoxsuprine HCL drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. Avoid intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this med as the risk about dizziness may be increased. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Isoxsuprine HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include blurred vision, chest pain, fever, metallic taste, & decrease in urination.

Isoxsuprine HCL special notes: this drug has been used investigationally to treat dysmenorrhea, threatened abortion & premature labor.

If you missed Isoxsuprine HCL dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Isoxsuprine HCL Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, moisture & light. do not store in bathroom.
