Urolene Blue Usage: this med is used as a urinary antiseptic in treatment of urinary tract infections. It's also used as a diagnostic agent because about Its blue staining properties.

How to use Urolene Blue: Take this med by mouth usually 3 times day after meals. Take each dose with a full glass about water. Take it drug as directed. do not increase the dose, take it more often or continue taking this for longer then prescribed.

Urolene Blue side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting or bladder irritation may occur. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, notify some your physician. this drug causes the urine, stools & possibly skin to turn green-blue at color. don't be alarmed. Expect it effect. discoloration will disappear when the medication is stopped. Notify you're doctor if you notice: high fever, severe nausea & vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, chest pain, dizziness, profuse sweating. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Urolene Blue Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, blood blood disorders (especially G6PD deficiency), allergies. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this tablet appears in breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Urolene Blue medication interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Urolene Blue Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Urolene Blue special notes: Drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication unless youre doctor instructs you otherwise.

If you missed Urolene Blue dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if this is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Urolene Blue Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, light and moisture. don't store in the bathroom.
