Naphcon Usage: Naphazoline is decongestant used to relieve redness, puffiness, itchy & watering eyes associated with colds, allergies or eye irritations.
How to use Naphcon: To apply eye drops, wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch your eye. Tilt you're head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number about drops. look downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at corner about the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent med from draining away from eye. Try not to blink & don't rub eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait in least five minutes before applying other eye medications.
Naphcon side effects: it drug may temporarily sting your eyes for minute or two when you 1'st use this. If stinging continues or becomes bothersome, inform your physician. Vision may be blurred or unstable since a few minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Inform your doctor if you develop: severe eye pain, headache, redness/itching/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Naphcon Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional if you have: heart problems, glaucoma, allergies (especially medication allergies). it med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. this isn't known if this pill appears in breast milk; consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Naphcon drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Naphcon Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Naphcon special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Naphcon dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' doses.
Naphcon Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. Discard if drops become discolored or cloudy.
