Doc Q Lax Usage: this tablet is used for short-term treatment of constipation.
How to use Doc Q Lax: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this pill. Laxatives shouldnot be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.
Doc Q Lax side effects: this med may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. this tablet can cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. Its not harmful. Notify youre doctor if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or healthcare professional.
Doc Q Lax Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. this medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks and benefits with you're doctor. Consult your healthcare professional before using any tablet while breast-feeding.
Doc Q Lax drug interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of few meds, it is important to tell youre pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Doc Q Lax Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack about feeling alert, or dry gums and eyes.
Doc Q Lax special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.
If you missed Doc Q Lax dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Doc Q Lax Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
