Coldcough Pd Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Coldcough Pd: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take it more often than directed. this medication is best taken with a full glass of water after meal or snack.
Coldcough Pd side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the 1'st some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. Coldcough Pd drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure tablets, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this med. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Coldcough Pd Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.
Coldcough Pd special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Coldcough Pd dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Coldcough Pd Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
