    Warning: it drug can cause fetal harm if used during the last six months of pregnancy. If pregnancy occurs, stop using it drug & immediately contact your physician.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide Usage: Captopril prevents certain enzymes in body from narrowing blood vessels. it helps to lower blood pressure & makes the heart beat stronger. Thiazides are 'water pills' (diuretics) that help reduce blood pressure. this med is used to treat high blood pressure.

    How to use Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide: it medication should be taken on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after a meal. Take this med exactly as prescribed. Try to take it at same time each day. don't stop taking this med without consulting some your doctor. few conditions may become worse when tablet is abruptly stopped. your dose may need to be gradually decreased. Consult your physician before using salt substitutes or low salt milk. it is important to continue taking it med even if you feel well. most people with high blood pressure don't feel sick.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide side effects: Dizziness, headache, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, nausea, loss of taste, flushing, fatigue, cough or increased urination may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician. it medication can increase sensitivity to sunlight. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Inform youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, tingling about the hands or feet, persistent sore throat. this drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver problems. If you notice any of the following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, seek immediate medical attention: yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach/abdominal pain, persistent fatigue, persistent nausea. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this tablet, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or doctor.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: liver, kidney or heart problems, urinary problems, diabetes, allergies (especially allergies to sulfa drugs). the hydrochlorothiazide at this product may increase your sensitivity to sunlight. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. If you become sun sensitive, use sunscreen & wear protective clothing when outdoors. Limit your intake of alcohol & use caution when exercising & during hot waether because these factors may increase risk of dizziness. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during first three months of pregnancy. it isn't recommended since use during last 6 months about the pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. this drug is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide med interactions: this pill isn't recommended since use with: dofetilide. Ask your pharmacist or physician for more details. Inform your pharmacist about all the medicine you use (both prescription and nonprescription) especially about: lithium, potassium supplements, potassium-sparing water pills, anti- inflammatory drugs (e.g., ibuprofen), digoxin. Avoid pills that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants commonly found in cough-and-cold medicines. Read drug labels carefully. If you are uncertain some your drug products increase heart rate, ask your pharmacist or pharmacist. If you take colestipol or cholestyramine, take it medicine 1 hour before or four hours after the cholesterol-lowering medicine so they don't decrease absorption of this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, fainting, & weakness.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide special notes: It's important to have some your blood pressure checked regularly while taking it medication. Learn how to monitor youre blood pressure. Discuss this with youre physician.

    If you missed Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Captopril Hydrochlorothiazide Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
