Antifungals - topical
Mitrazol Usage: this med is used to treat fungal skin infections.
How to use Mitrazol: Clean & dry affected region before applying the drug. To apply, gently massage little bit of the med to the affected area & surrounding skin. Continue to use the tablet as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with bandage only if instructed to do so by your pharmacist. this may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your pharmacist. another tablet may be necessary. don't apply this pill into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
Mitrazol side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging or redness when 1st applied to skin. it should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre pharmacist promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Mitrazol Precautions: Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using it drug, tell your physician if you are pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
Mitrazol drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially of: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
Mitrazol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Mitrazol special notes: this medication is prescribed for youre current condition only. do not use it for other infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require a different medicine.
If you missed Mitrazol dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Mitrazol Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from gettin wet. do not store in bathroom. Keep out of reach of children.
