    Guaifenesin/decongestant/narcotic antitussive liquid - oral

    Coldcough Exp Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. this combination medication is used to treat cough and relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Coldcough Exp: this medication is best taken with, or after, meal or snack. Take it medication as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.

    Coldcough Exp side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur 1st several days as youre body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

    Coldcough Exp Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of medication dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult some your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. at least one about ingredients in it combination product is known to be excreted in to breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Coldcough Exp medication interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Coldcough Exp Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

    Coldcough Exp special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Coldcough Exp dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Coldcough Exp Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
