Benoxyl 10 Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
How to use Benoxyl 10: this tablet is for topical use on affected area only. Avoid using this at eyes, mouth & nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap once or 2 times a day. Wet skin before applying this. Gently work up lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels are usually applied once or twice day to affected area. a small amount is applied to affected area & rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected region of skin with a mild cleanser & water then dry it. next apply pad, usually 1 time or two times day to skin as directed.
Benoxyl 10 side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect it. However, notify your physician if the next effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.
Benoxyl 10 Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist your medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this medication may bleach hair and colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in child under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though they're have no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Benoxyl 10 drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of every medicines you may use, both prescription and nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Benoxyl 10 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Benoxyl 10 special notes: this drug is available in many forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser & in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). some can be purchased with out prescription. Discuss various products with you're physician or pharmacist to determine the best one for you.
If you missed Benoxyl 10 dose: Use missed dose as soon as you remember & resume your regular dosing schedule.
Benoxyl 10 Storage: Store between 59 and 76 degrees F (15 and 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight.
