Coldcough Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Coldcough: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. this tablet is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack.
Coldcough side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the first some days as youre body adjusts to tablet. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.
Coldcough Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre healthcare professional. since small amounts of this medication found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Coldcough pill interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine). Limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Coldcough Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.
Coldcough special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Coldcough dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Coldcough Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
