Thiola Usage: this medication is used to prevent formation of kidney stones.

How to use Thiola: it med is taken by mouth usually 3 times day at least one hour before meals or two hours after meals. Take it as directed. do not increase your dose, take this more often than prescribed or stop taking this without 1st consulting youre physician.

Thiola side effects: Loss of taste or stomach upset may occur. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify your healthcare professional if you experience: fever, sore throat, chills, bruising, skin rash, itching, muscle aches. With long-term treatment, wrinkling of skin has been reported. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or physician.

Thiola Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: anemia, blood disorders, any allergies. this medication should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly needed. If you missed Thiola dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
