Naloxone HCL Usage: this medication is used to prevent or reverse effects about narcotic pain relievers. it has also been used in treatment about shock, alcoholic coma, schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease.

How to use Naloxone HCL: this medication is administered by injection in to vein or muscle. dose may be repeated as needed or this may be continuously infused depending on you're condition & the purpose Its being used. this drug must be used under close medical supervision so the dose can be adjusted to response.

Naloxone HCL side effects: Nausea, stomach upset or drowsiness may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: vomiting, sweating, tremors, breathing trouble, seizures, rapid/pounding/irregular heartbeat. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Naloxone HCL Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: heart problems, heart disease, been using any type of pain reliever for more than 2 weeks, allergies (especially drug allergies). it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor.

Naloxone HCL medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: narcotic pain medications. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.

Naloxone HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Naloxone HCL special notes: this medication can cause withdrawal symptoms in persons addicted to narcotic pain relievers.

If you missed Naloxone HCL dose: this is important that each dose be taken as needed. If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered. Skip missed dose. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Naloxone HCL Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) as directed for up to 24 hours. dollars the expiration date on label & properly discard of any unused medication after that time.
