Wycillin Usage: it medication is an antibiotic used to treat wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use Wycillin: this drug is administered by healthcare professional or nurse & is injected into a large muscle. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine at youre body is kept in constant level. this is done by scheduling doses in evenly spaced intervals. If more then one dose is required make sure you do not miss any doses. the number of doses depend on the type of infection. Continue to receive this medication until fully prescribed treatment program is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping tablet too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse about infection.
Wycillin side effects: this tablet can cause mild diarrhea, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting or irritation at injection site during first few days as your body adjusts to med. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: watery diarrhea, stomach cramps, fever, unusual bleeding or bruising, yellowing of eyes or skin, unusual tiredness or weakness. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: wheezing, difficulty breathing, skin rash, hives, itching. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Wycillin Precautions: Before using this medication tell youre physician your medical history, especially about: kidney disease, stomach/intestinal diseases, allergies (especially allergies to penicillins, other antibiotics, procainamide, ester-type anesthetics such as lidocaine, PABA goods such as methylparaben). Use of this drug for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Tell your healthcare professional if you pregnant before using this medication. this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Wycillin drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of every the drugs you use (prescription & nonprescription), especially of: probenecid, tetracyclines, certain live vaccines, aminoglycosides (e.g., gentamicin). it drug may interfere with the effectiveness about birth control pills.
